BPC SmartVista Processing is a solution, rather than a product. This means that it is only complete with a full range of BPC skills, experience and expertise behind it and services around it.

With dozens of successful live projects behind its shoulders, BPC has achieved an intimate understanding of the customers' needs and concerns and is ready to offer you a comprehensive range of services, from turnkey 'green field' processing centre implementation to a complex custom-tailored project that will delicately build the SmartVista Processing solution into your legacy environment.

We will not only deliver and install the server with customised software: we will also fully prepare your IT infrastructure for the integration of the processing centre, and in addition to product training, we can deliver basic card business education for your employees, provide you with consultancy and logistical assistance to help you become a member of international card schemes and have your processing centre certified by Visa and Europay or MasterCard, to design your cards and order plastic, to choose, configure and set up your hardware platform and terminals; we will also help you design and implement the business processes that will be optimal for your processing centre.

Leveraging BPC's rich experience of installing processing centre solutions in live card processing environments, we will migrate your existing customer base to the new solution with minimum disruption of service: in a real-life migration case involving a database of 90,000 cards, authorisations were unavailable for less than two hours. The existing information flow involving other elements of your IT infrastructure will not be disrupted, and you will not even need to reissue the cards or PINs for your customers. If your concern is not to lose any specific functionality of your existing solution, you may rest assured that the solutions we provide will only extend the range of services that you offer now. As of now, we have proven tools to migrate data from Cardman, UC+ and Tieto Conts systems.

From the very start of our cooperation, the BPC customer relationship process is designed to offer you maximum comfort. In a typical scenario, the processing centre implementation will happen in the following chain of logical steps:

  • Preliminary Discussion of functional requirements — to help us understand your card related business needs and priorities and also to prepare your card scheme membership applications.
  • Pre-Project Consultancy — to help you better understand all aspects of card processing that will have to be taken care of. This is also the stage where we can perform a business oriented feasibility study to work out an optimal processing centre solution for you, to fill out the card scheme questionnaires and to co-ordinate your project implementation schedule with the card scheme operators.
  • System Integration Review (SIR) — to discuss the details of the processing centre functionality that you require and to map out the phases and milestones of project implementation within your organisation.
  • Functional Specification — this is a detailed document based on the SIR outcome that we will prepare and submit for your approval. Once signed off, this functional specification will become the main working document for your project, based on which your system will be customised and implemented.
  • Customisation and Configuration of your processing centre solution in strict conformance to functional specification. Personnel training and pre-certification of the solution by card networks will also be conducted at this stage.
  • Final Certification by card scheme operators and Customer Testing will start once the system has been fully installed at customer premises.
  • Going Live.
  • Warranty Support.
  • Post-Warranty Support.
From our experience, we can confidently claim that we are ready to install a processing centre solution, from ground up to going live, within one month for a local card project, and within three months for international cards!

  • Base-level support (resolution of any problems with your SmartVista Processing solution)
  • Base-level support + database administration
  • Base-level support + database administration + system administration
