SmartVista has an extremely flexible model of defining relationships between cardholders and their cards. In fact, there are four categories involved that can be set up individually, with multiple relationships between them: the customer, whether the same person as the cardholder or not; the cardholder, whether the owner of the account(s) to which the card is linked or just a person authorised to use somebody else's account; the account, whether specific to the card or the same for many cards; and the card, which can also be linked to one or many accounts. This allows addressing complex card products, such as corporate, payroll or family card schemes, mixed credit and debit cards, etc.
