As a considerable improvement over many other card processing solutions, SmartVista takes maximum advantage of all the information contained in authorisation and clearing messages received from the payment schemes. This results in a better automation of message identification and processing, authorisation matching, detailed position reconciliation, correct processing of cross-currency payments and transaction fees. The only limitation stems from the fact that some payment schemes have more informative message formats than others, so some manual intervention may still be needed when the required information cannot be automatically retrieved.
