This is the top, mandatory level of SmartVista Financial Institution hierarchy, more often referred to as Institution. The bank itself and the Payment Schemes must be set up at this level.

Each Institution entry is identified by unique Short and Long Institution ID and holds references to a set of parameters that apply across the institution, such as Full Name, Address, Contact Persons, Institution Level GL Scheme, Institution Type, BIN's, CMID's, Global Limits, etc.
