Migration
During the process of replacement of a legacy processing solution with SmartVista, the data migration is required and the two systems have to be supported in parallel. This process is not simple and requires elaborate analysis and planning.

SmartVista structure and technological features ensure smooth migration from the previous solution. The system is hierarchical from both the cards product and merchants point of view, and parameterised, which allows many different schemes to be managed simply and in parallel during the transition process and new ones can be easily added to bring products for the merged entity quickly to market. Moreover, the table driven structure allows different views of the data to be provided to different roles so that people can manage their old business processes with no retraining whilst the new are being introduced.

These and other features allow avoiding services stoppage during the transition period and lead to the overall improvement of product and services line-up.
