Projects
BPC has a unique experience in delivering software solutions designed for international and domestic banks, national networks, card associations, processors, payment gateways and retailers. Here is a selection of some challenging projects implemented by BPC:
Sberbank (Savings Bank of Russia), the leading bank in Russia in CIS, and one of the largest in Eastern Europe. BPC built the largest processing centre in Russia to drive the bank’s card business countrywide. As of the beginning of 2007 the processing centre supports over 10K ATMs and over 50K POS-terminals directly managed by SmartVista; the volume of issued cards exceeds 18M.
Gazprombank, Russia, the banking arm of Russia’s energy giant Gazprom – the largest gas producing company in the world. SmartVista serves as the core of a multi-layer processing network with a single clearing and switching centre, enabling the bank to offer card processing services to other banks (TPP/MSP).
ING Bank (Eurasia), Russia, the East European affiliate of the ING Group focusing on tailor-made card products for VIP customers. BPC created a fully functional in-house processing centre with rich functionality and sophisticated Internet banking component.
Alfa Bank, Russia, the largest privately owned Russian bank featuring the highest Western standards. “Alfa Bank Express” was the first project in its kind in Russia. The goal was to create a full-scale retail banking network based on a self-service business model. The key project feature was the implementation of multi-channel financial services delivery functionality.
Kazakh Railways, Kazakhstan, the national railway company. SmartVista is the key element of the end-to-end e-business infrastructure to support ordering and settlement for both freight and passenger transport on national railroads using smart cards.
Security Bank Corporation, Philippines, one of the country’s top ten banks strategically focused on technology innovation. SmartVista replaced the bank’s card processing systems including ACI BASE 24, and CTL Prime and Online, to provide a single platform for processing all local and international credit and debit cards.
UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group, Ukraine, one of the Ukraine’s top banks, owned by BNP Paribas. BPC created an in-house card processing center as the foundation for the bank’s retail business initiatives with headroom for a steep growth in retail transaction volumes.
Mobile Payments Service Centre (MPSC), Ukraine, a nation-wide mobile payments infrastructure. MSPC will extend outsourcing services to banks, merchants and mobile operators to enable them to apply m-commerce technology to their business. The SmartVista based processing centre will provide mobile transaction switching and clearing.
UkrSmart, Ukraine. Within a project, an open infrastructure for electronic payments switching will be deployed enabling cash holders pay for services, either with a banking card or in cash, using a wide network of self-service multimedia kiosks.
The projects run by BPC are implemented on the basis of PMI methodology in full compliance with ISO 9001-2001 quality standard that is confirmed by the relevant certificate from SGS International Certification Services (SGS ICS).
